These are beautiful!!

I'm new to LJ and i don't know how to get an Icon. picture technology always makes my brain hurt.XD Especially a pretty Ita/Shi icon. Could you tell me how that works? and if its possible to use one of these? Because they are gorgeous. or are they just artwork to be viewed here only?

I'm sorry, icons are just so confusing.
